| It's pretty hard to top the drama and color of the Fisgard Lighthouse (yesterday's post) so here's a look at a more muted bit of Victoria's scenery. This is Swan Lake, a nature sanctuary in the midst of urban Victoria. At this time of year it's a study in the browns and reds that are relics of autumn. To the right is a photo taken from nearly the same spot in May. |  |
