Though we are well into September and the leaves are starting to turn, there are still some delights in the garden. This is
Borage (Borago officinalis), more descriptively and poetically known as Starflower. The flowers and leaves are edible and are also used in herbal medicine. But I like it mostly because since I started to take close-up photos of plants and flowers, I've developed a special fondness for hairy plants. Borage certainly qualifies.
